The 2nd edition of FUNbook 1: Super Easy ABCs & 123s includes 320 pages, up from 300 in the 1st edition, with some design improvements. Key updates include circles in the Uppercase Spelling Time hint box to assist with word selection, a requirement for students to write lowercase letters in the Lowercase Code Time hint box, and a change in Lowercase Search Time, where students now write words in lowercase instead of drawing lines. Additionally, pages 293–300, originally reference materials and games, have been replaced by Review Time worksheets.
