The content and worksheets in each book are designed to be slightly challenging when students begin, but noticeable progress should be seen as they work through each book. By the end of a FUNbook, students should be able to complete the worksheets confidently and understand the material, indicating they are ready for the next level.

    It’s important to note that we’ve seen a range of experiences: advanced 4-year-olds successfully working through FUNbook 2, and even adults finding FUNbook 3 challenging. So, while the recommended ages below provide a general guideline, they should not be seen as strict limits.

    Recommended Ages for EFL Students Studying Once Per Week:

    • FUNbook 1: Suitable for ages 3 – 6.
    • Phonics + Math FUNbook: Recommended for ages 5 – 7, or for any students lacking foundational reading and writing skills.
